This is to inform you that, like previous years, a parenting workshop

has been planned on 18 January 2009 in Darshan Bhavan of Jadavpur Univ.

The theme this year is: Problem with Child's Education. This is meant

for parents with child(ren) on or above 10 years. The following is the

proposed schedule for the workshop.

10:30 - 2:00 : Lipika Bhattacharya (Special Educator) with parents

Experts from Counseling Cell, JU, with children

2:00 - 2:30 : Dry lunch

2:30 - 5:00 : Lipika Bhattacharya with children

Experts from Counseling Cell with parents

Venue: Darshan Bhavan, JU. Enter through Gate No. 5, south of

Ceramic and Glass Research Institute, the first JU gate

south of Jadavpur Phanri.

Members are requested to confirm to Anup Dewanji (9432321716/24427192) or to

Nilanjana Gupta (9830543884/24736911) by 11 January 2009. There will

be a nominal charge to cover part of the expenses. While confirming,

the members are requested to list at least two problems they are

having to deal with the child's education. This will help the

counsellors to prepare in a better way.
